Sarkodie in his new banger “No Fugazy” did not only brag about his collections, wealth and overall personality but used the opportunity to throw shots at people who put on fake attires.
The track which begins on a low tempo has Sarkodie first of all talking about the dresses he owns, the brands he patronizes and why his fashion style is second to none.
He went on to speak about his high taste for quality attires and why people who want to copy his brand need to get ready to spend more to look just as good as he is.
“No Fugazy” is a locally coined phrase used to refer to people who put on fake and low-cost attires. Therefore, Sarkodie was just speaking about how he has built his brand purposefully by paying attention to what he wears.
With Medikal taking some of the shots, Sarkodie intimated that he gives a long distance to people who for any reason put on attires that are fake just to impress. We all know how Medikal has been in the news in recent times for buying or flaunting stuff that is allegedly fake.
The video has the ideal visuals with ladies dancing in the background but Sarkodie added the vibe and flow that will certainly drive you crazy. This song will certainly encourage you to either be content with what you can afford to put on or be encouraged to be up for the competition.
We all know how Sarkodie does it. Well, his chorus insisted that people who claim they have money need to focus on how best they look first before they think of purchasing a car.
However, he added that he has always been ahead in the drip game and does not conform to the norms.
The #NoFugazy track can best be described as a “self-aggrandizing” project which Sarkodie is using to blow his trumpet but also maintaining the Hip-Hop vibe and energy.
