University of Cape Coast student, Rose Yeboah has clinched Ghana’s first gold medal at the ongoing African Senior Athletics Championships in Mauritius.
UCC student, Rose Yeboah has won Ghana’s first goal medal at the African Senior Athletics Championships in Mauritius, clearing the bar at 1.79m to win the women’s high jump.

The 21-year-old cleared the bar at 1.79m in the women’s high jump to grab the gold medal.
The jump does not best what she did at the 2020 GUSA Games where she cleared the bar at 1.85M.
Rose Yeboah also won gold in the women’s high jump at the 2019 African Games in Rabat.
She won gold at her last competition (1.80m) at the GAA’s National Circuit in April 2022.
