Ghana’s president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his spouse, Rebecca Akufo-Addo are the first persons to take the 600,000 of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine.
His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana and his wife, Rebecca are the first Ghanaian who have received the covid-19 vaccines.
Ghana so far becomes the first country to receive hundreds of thousands of the covid-19 vaccines.
After the vaccines arrived, a lot of Ghanaians has shown no interest in getting the vaccine as a result of fear.
However, Ghana’s president alongside his wife, the vice president, Dr. Bawumia and his wife have set example for Ghanaians to follow.
As a leader, they have dedicated to themselves of being the first government officials to get the vaccine.
The above presidential officials are taking their vaccines at the 37 Military Hospital – at the moment, it is only Nana Addo and his wife who have first taken theirs.
