The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMA) has cautioned Ghanaians to expect more rains in the coming weeks
The warning comes after heavy overnight rain in parts of Accra which flooded a lot of places particularly at Adabraka in the Klottey Korley constituency.

The rains have started and the ground is gradually being saturated so any rain that will come as we witnessed already in Accra, will result in floods because we will have run-off waters that may not have the chance to percolate into the ground

The agency has therefore advised people living close to the beach to stop dumping waste into the sea since they have noticed that it is one of the major causes of flooding in the country.
