The Speaker Of Parliament of Ghana Hon Rt Alban Babgin has categorically rejected the proposal of LGBTQI+ call for rights proposal in the country.
In an indoor meeting, the Australian High Commissioner to Ghana H.E. Gregory Andrews suggested to the Speaker to accept LGBTQI+ in the country as its their culture and their culture is dynamic and their can accepts any form of culture.

However, Hon Alban Bagbin in a response has rejected the request without giving it a second thought. He further stated that, since Ghanaians cant impose their culture of polygamy on Australians, they should also not impose their culture on them
