Minister Designate For Fisheries and Aquaculture, Hawa Koomsom, took her turn at the Appointment Committee for her vetting earlier today.
The Appointment Committee have so far vetted Minister Designates for Interior, Education, Energy, Local Government and Rural Development, just to mention a few.
Today was the turn of Hawa Koomson, Minister Designate For Fisheries and Aquaculture, and during her vetting she was asked to defined Fish Farming by the Chairman of the Committee.
She answered;
Mr. Chairman I will try my best. Fish farming is the rearing of fishes in reservoirs and fish ponds etc
Hawa Koomson further apologies for the happenings that occurred in her constituency during voter’s registration leading to her picking up her gun and firing warning shots.
According to her, she felt her life was in danger and had to protect herself.
